After the drill chuck is fixed to the spindle of the tail stock of the lathe machine, the feed is fed by moving the hand wheel.

Center Drilling Defects

Due to this unnecessary friction is generated. This unnecessary friction causes wear and tear in the tip of the center drill and generates excessive heat. This defect can be avoided by feeding only 3/4 of the counter sink.
  2. when Center drill If the feed supplied by the feed is given in excess, a plain hole is formed by the center body at the tip of the surface, due to which the job does not get proper base and the surface of the job is obtained bad and unclean.
