resources Planning is essential to meet current and future needs. Planning is a widely accepted strategy for long-term use of resources. Especially in a country like India where there is a lot of diversity in the availability of resources, the need for resource planning at the provincial and local level is even greater for the balanced development of the country.
Resource planning is a complex process, in which the following 3 steps are considered important-
- To identify and assess resources in different regions of the country. For this purpose field survey, mapping and qualitative and quantitative evaluation are done.
- To create appropriate technology, skill and institutional framework for implementing the resource development plan.
